If you're familiar with the Simple Decycler and the high pass filter by John Ehlers, then you won't be disappointed with this one. The Decycler Oscillator utilizes both and remove low frequency values. The Decycler Oscillator is multiplied by a coefficient which is typically equal to one. The indicator allows for a couple of curves to be drawn; a fast and a slow one. This is so that reversal points could be potentially determined. The user should adjust the coefficient to gain better reversal points tailored to the timeframe being utilized.

We have broken up this indicator into two sections, slow and fast curves, each could be adjusted by the user. We have also implemented two approaches to determining trend: a strict mode and a simple mode. The strict mode will only shade if a crossover occurs and the fast curve crosses above or below the slow curve. The simple mode only looks at the crossover.

Decycler Oscillator Features:

• Option to select data input. i.e. close, HL2, HLC3 etc...
• The period of the high pass filter and the coefficient could be adjusted for the fast and slow curves.
• Two modes could be utilized for shading; check "Strict" to enable strict mode and uncheck to enable simple mode.
• Option to adjust/remove shade and adjust shade colors.
